has to be James’ retirement…never saw this coming, specially after he had beaten JJ at Cincy 2013. Wonderful talent and a classy player…wish him gud luck!
Makes sense Kimberly! I agree with you. Though I think Federer’s shoes are also a significant story [maybe 4th, after the other 3] because of the ruckus wimbledon made. How awesome were Fed’s red-soled shoes on the wimbledon clay. I hope Nike hasn’t discontinued that line, as I will buy them when I start playing tennis more seriously.
That video is Howl-arious! Fed has got a wonderful and funny side! My favorite is the Fed-Rafa funny video! Legends being funny and goofy = Fedalegendary! 🙂
Early in the day, Kuznetsova is taking Peng to the cleaners! and Errani being given similar treatment by Pennetta! I havealways been a big fan of Svetlana Kuznetsova! Amazingly talented player. With a better coach and more focus, she could have put together an even more impressive resume.

roger’s shoes…significant event…ru kidding?
I even wanted to include Maria thinking of changing her name to Sugarpova 🙂
talking of FED’s shoes…found this hilarious video of the maestro…ENJOY!
Venus second round loss would be if it was her last us open. But as its not James overshadows.
